Here I keep the quotes from the book that I find especially meaningful and important for myself. The issue is if you don’t finish the development at certain stage, you will be stuck there and will always come back there until you finish all developmental goals related to that particular stage. In addition to diagnostics at each step you can also see the list of recommendation for healing each stage: how can you complete under-developed due to traumas a particular stage of children’s development. While it describes the symptoms of traumatisation of each childhood stage, it also tells how you were supposed to develop healthy. It guides you through all your child life from birth till adolescence and helps to see what are the developmental goals you should be fulfilling at each stage. It’s a great book for those who are ready to face and heal their childhood traumas. I’ve just finished reading the book “Homecoming: reclaiming and championing your inner child” by John Bradshaw.
